Instructions for Writing a Spell Book

Instructions for Writing a Spell Book of First Year Spells

On the first page in large letters write the name you wish to be known by as a witch or wizard. Draw under it a symbol (a picture that represents you.)

Now you can turn the page and begin recording one of the following spells based on psychological principles.

How to Write a Wish Spell

  1. Choose a wish that you believe is possible. Your really believing it can happen will help make it occur. Now write what specifically you wish.
  2. Now, consider very carefully: Is this wish good for everyone involved, so that you are 100% in favor of it? If it is not good for everyone involved or if you are not 100% in favor of it, then rewrite the words until it is best for all.
  3. Next write, "I do not want ____" and write in how your present situation is different from your wish.
  4. When you have done this, write again what you wish. Describe what you will see, hear, and feel when the wish comes true. Read it out loud. Then close your eyes and imagine it as if it were already true.
  5. Think what skills you now have that will help you attain your wish. Write them down.
  6. Think what else you will need and write down each required thing and skill.
  7. Last, write down at what date can you believe your wish will come true. Write down that date and what you will need to do to make it happen by then. Make sure that you have written down all the necessary stages and as you follow them, you will help your wish to happen.

How to Write an Object Enchantment Spell

  1. Think of an emotion–happiness, calm, confidence, excitement or whatever you want. Now write it at the head of a page.
  2. Next take the object to be enchanted in one hand and a magic wand in the other. Remember a time when you had a very intense experience of the emotion you wrote down. Remember it so vividly that you can see, hear, and feel what you were experiencing at that time. Touch the object with your magic wand when you are remembering the emotion most intensely.
  3. Now write a word or two to describe the memory. Again, recall another, different vivid memory of that emotion, and touch the object with your wand. (The more memories you add, the stronger the spell will be.)
  4. Put the object away carefully and take it out when you want to feel that emotion.

*************

You can combine this spell with the previous one. If, for instance, you were afraid of presenting a report in front of your class, you could write out the wish to give an interesting report and use your spell writing to plan what you need to do to make it excellent. You should follow that plan AND put an enchantment on some object that will be with you during the presentation. As you touch and see that object, it will give you calm, confidence, or whatever spell you put on it.

How to Write Other Spells

Sit quietly letting your imagination guide you to other spells that are good for you AND others. Name them and write them in the book.
