| OUT OF PRODUCTION Muffy in mukluks and the warmest little winter coat -- with her companion seal in a wintertime gift box. Tags included! If you are a Muffy collector, you may already know that this boxed, limited edition Muffy is packaged in a gift box with a verrrry weak design. The box is an attempt to create a little igloo for Muffy, and in the attempt, they made the top rounded but with an opening in the middle of the rounded roof. The result is a structure soooo weak that it barely holds together and often collapses without any assistance from being handled or opened. Subsequent round-topped boxes have been used, but never one that opens in the middle. The final comment here is that very few of these boxes exist that could be called "mint" because even as they sat on store shelves, their fragile design gave way. Muffy and her seal are in very fine condition in all our "Muffy of the North" boxes, but please understand that the gift box cannot be expected to be in such prime shape. We will ship you the best one we have! You can also order Muffy of the North without her box at a discount (some boxes have just not survived at all....) |
