Surface Formula for Watercolor is formulated to be sprayed on the dry surface of a finished watercolor. The result will be an added layer of transparant gum arabic based seal, with additional flexibility, protection from air/polutants, and a very slight additional sheen to the surface. An added natural preservative has also been included in this blend to help preserve the paper and paint from moths and other insects to which "naked" watercolors are vulnerable. Surface Formula should be: 1. misted on very lightly, then 2. dried with a blow drier for 60 seconds, then 3. repeat 1 & 2, then 3. allowed to air dry/cure for a least 5 days before framing or storing behind another surface. Available in 4oz spray bottle, and 8oz refill. Non toxic. Ingredients: Distilled Water, Gum Arabic Solution, Glycerin, Clove Oil |
